In 2019 I started to work on a series of paintings that I call "The Room Series."  These paintings are about looking out from a "room" onto nature or offer a window to the outside.  The cabin paintings depict views onto spring and winter.  The southwestern "room" is based on Navajo jewelry stands that are sited along highways in Arizona and often through unintention openings over views onto the magnificent and sometimes austere southwestern landscape.  Several other "rooms" are in process.
